Last Sunday, I struggled to find a seat at the Student Center. Why do you ask?

Mati Mariansky, an artist, lecturer, and entrepreneur, and founder of the "Rise of the Machines" community (link to the excellent group in the comments), joined us for a fascinating discussion about pattern recognition, compression, and artificial intelligence.

We learned a lot and had quite a few laughs - so thank you Mati, it was excellent!

Also, we were happy to meet, drink, eat and catch up for the last time this semester.
