New: Specialization in Critical Thinking and Contemporary Technologies

A non-thesis master's degree track, offered in collaboration with the Program in Interpretation and Culture. The track focuses on the political, social, economic, and cultural implications of digital technologies. Studies examine the subject from STS, critical theory, and cultural theories perspectives.

The program is open to students holding a bachelor's degree from any academic discipline.

Degree requirements: 40 credits (not including Basic Jewish Studies and English language requirements)

Core courses (8 credits):

  • Science, Technology and Society (4 credits)
  • Philosophical Foundations in Science, Technology and Society (4 credits)

Critical Thinking and Contemporary Technologies Colloquium (8 credits). This program-specific colloquium is required for two years.

Digital Research Lab (2 weekly hours. A workshop for the final project, taken in the second year of studies).

20 credits of electives and seminars to be selected from the Science, Technology and Society Program and the Program in Interpretation and Culture (8-12 credits from each program).

Students must complete two seminar papers during their studies.
