Prof. Nadav Davidovitch

Prof. Nadav Davidovitch is a Full Professor, a medical specialist in Epidemiology and Public Health, and holds a Ph.D. in the History and Sociology of Health.
Before moving to Bar-Ilan University to establish a multidisciplinary research center in the field of public health, he served as the Director of the School of Public Health at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (completed his term in 2025). Previously, he was the Head of the Department of Health Systems Management at Ben Gurion Uiversity and Chair, Center for Health Policy Research in the Negev.
Prof. Davidovitch is the Head of Health Policy Program at the Taub Center, Chairman of the Public Health Forum of the Israel Medical Association (IMA), and serves on the Board of Governors of the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region (ASPHER). He continues to be active in numerous health policy committees, both at the national level and in the international arena, including as a member of the Health Advisory Council to the Ministry of Health.
His research focuses on health policy, health inequality, the link between environment, urbanism, and health, climate change and health, and the history and ethics of public health.
